OVERALL PURPOSE OF ROLE:

Supporting the CRM team to manage and deliver email campaigns to add value to the overall CRM program; develop and initiate marketing campaigns which meet TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) and business requirements.

The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external stakeholders such as compliance, commercial teams, campaign delivery and external 3rd parties (email service provider). To achieve the smooth delivery of successful CRM campaigns the candidate must also ensure that key TCF KPIs are met and that TCF is ingrained in all activity.

MAIN ACTIVITIES/TASKS:

  • Management of multiple email campaigns to effectively deliver key business objectives
  • Work with tactical stakeholders to deliver product-led messaging, and strategic stakeholders to help shape the customer journey
  • Ensure TCF principles are applied to all marketing activity and that key KPIs are met
  • Developing strong relationships with commercial teams to ensure that only best products are sent to customers
  • Ensure all marketing activity meets required financial promotion regulations
  • Analysing campaign results to optimise campaign performance
  • On-going awareness of email / digital marketing best practice to identify campaign improvements
  • Constantly considering how campaigns can be improved; design, leverage data insight, process
  • Keeping abreast of competitor activity and make recommendations for any action

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: 

Essential

  • End to end campaign management experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexible with excellent time management skills and the ability to multi task
  • Attention to detail
  • Numerate, analytical and results focussed
  • Has a clear understanding of putting the customer at the heart of decision making
  • Knowledge of best practice and current trends in email marketing
  • Understanding of CRM, and the value it brings to MoneySuperMarket
  • Familiarity with social media, direct mail, and their relationship to email marketing
  • Knowledge of the market place, and an interest in related news and media

Desirable

  • Educated to degree level
  • Marketing qualification  e.g. IDM or CIM
  • Analytical nature to get to the heart of issues
  • Financial services background with an understanding of TCF and how it impacts CRM campaigns

EXPERIENCE: / PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential

  • Proven accountability for delivering effective campaigns
  • Ability to work across multiple teams with a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience of producing and critiquing creative, and involvement with sign-off of communications 

Desirable

  • CRM, eCRM or marketing communication campaign management
  • Email / digital marketing experience
  • Worked with an email service provider to deploy campaigns
  • Worked with creative agencies
  • Familiarity with testing and optimization techniques
  • Experience of a fully integrated, “through-the-line” marketing campaigns
